I have a Gap account due to a car loan I had with Amarillo National Bank. Always loved banking here until it came to trying to get any info on this account. For the last 3 years I've been trying to figure out what is going on but I kept getting told it's not my personal account or my money so I can't mess with it. Although it's on my accounts. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Was done wrong on my loan that I signed papers with Erin on Hillside and Bell. Signed papers before my $4000 down payment was taken, so I lost that. In-between dealing with Amber and Ty, Noone has a clue on getting me loan info and your "tech support" sets me up with a login to pay my account with a phone number I had 10 yrs ago. Definitely wi be filing a complaint with BBB as well

Worst customer service. They added $1300 to my account because I didn’t have insurance for one month. They are extremely rude I had to speak to about 5 different ppl to finally figure out they divided it into 10 months so I don’t have to pay it up front an was helpful for me to know finally. I did fall behind on 2 payments due to Covid an pregnancy but was willing to pay it all up front plus any other charges I had an they kept refusing to take the money an want to repossess the vehicle. After speaking to the loan officer this morning and making a payment, went to the doctor and came out with .46 cents. After I spoke to 8-10 employees today anddddd deposited more money for my prescriptions to be delivered. Do not bank with these people. They say “Amarillo National”. This business is soooo unprofessional and down right cold hearted.

When you talk about customer service , this bank does not have it ! Extremely unprofessional!! I would not recommend to anyone . I’d rather take an apr go 89% than to deal with them . Communication… may as well speak with a child ! Thanks Lidia for all your help .

Update: I got a call from John in the loan department and he was very helpful, explained everything clearly and even gave me a couple options to work with instead of “pay this or we’re taking your car”. The reason for the money being added on is completely justified and now that it’s been explained correctly I don’t have any issue with that. ANB wasn’t making money off of the extra, soo feel better about that. Horrible customer service. They added $1400 to my auto loan without my knowledge or permission because they said they didn’t have proof of insurance (which they had). They have had proof of coverage since the day I purchased my vehicle… Then they act like it’s my fault and have been extremely rude when I attempt to get it handled! As if I should feel privileged to have the honor to deal with them… as soon as they get this resolved I am paying off the loan and will never do business with them again!!! What a joke! Their appraisal process is criminal. They killed a closed deal with an appraisal that was 15% below sale price. Their comps were not relevant due to lack of sales nearby, failed to account for any upgrades in a complete remodel, horrible, inexperienced appraisers. Try to keep away from these criminals...any lawyers know how to suit for damages?
