High price with low quality.
I am NOT standing in line at this place again but I enjoyed the appetizers.
Food and service absolutely terrible. Will NOT be returning. Gave it another try last night. Food was extremely greasy, 21.00 for one piece of fish that was 1/4 inch thick with about 4 pounds of fries to make the portion look plentiful. Hush puppies were burned up. Everything tasted like it was cooked in old grease. Never again. Also with the 21.00 meal the bartender made me serve myself tea. Lazy! But yet people in this industry expect tips. My tip is stop treating customers this way.
Grilled Mahi-mahi on wife’s salad came to table Cold. My fried Flounder, while a generous portion, was soggy like it had been frozen and defrosted several times before it was fried. My fried Shrimp were neither butter-flied nor reasonably breaded and had little flavor. French fries were hot but soggy and finally the coleslaw was tasteless. If any dressing on it, I couldn’t find it. Overall, an extremely poor, but expensive, meal. Will not go back and certainly will not recommend to anyone.
We waited in line, and got ordered and seated fairly quickly. We then waited over an hour and a half for cold food, that was small portions and tasted frozen, not fresh. The best part was the drinks, where they don’t skimp on the alcohol. That’s probably to distract you from the overpriced, crappy food. We will not be back!
Place was crazy busy! I'm guessing as there doesn't seem to be a lot of restaurants in the area and most folks are tourists. Vibe was fun tho. I was disappointed in the food as I live in northern TX and hadn't had any real good seafood in a while. Most items are fried; not a fan. Had the crab cakes against my better judgment, they are fried not baked, and didn't have the texture of a crab cake, more like the stuffing in a stuffed crab. Coleslaw was fair, Grumbles rice was just plain white rice, no lime, nothing. Employees w... read more
Wait to long for food and was cold
Waited for over an hour for food. You have to walk around like a dumb looking for a table after you order. Grab the first table clean or dirty or someone else will. Not a great experience! Food was good but after the other negatives it wasn’t as palpable as it could have been.
Over $50 for two meals that was only worth $30. It took over an hour to get our food. Coleslaw was minimal amount, but that's okay, it was little more than cabbage in water.
