Five years ago was my first experience with this facility and retain great results from my Dr. Now I'm back and I've had the worst experience of my life. On 1/19/26 I had my procedure done, I got a call inquiring how I was feeling. I told the nurse that I still had discomfort and she said if I needed them to call. You think???? I've called several times and no answer. Left message, no call back. I'm still in a lot of pain. I feel like an unimportant chart # and not taken seriously about my pain. I'm highly frustrated and Lu... read more

Dr. Hirsch is wonderful however, this has to be the worst managed practice I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They will not follow up, will not answer the phone, and will not return phone calls, neither to you, nor your insurance company. The one time I actually got through to someone on the phone they told me my insurance company had denied the procedure and there was nothing they could do. When I talked to my insurance company they provided call logs showing they had left repeated messages for Lubbock Spine ... read more

Came here from Colorado and was receiving spinal injections there for $30.00 a visit with free x-ray on my insurance. Was sent to the spinal institute to continuing my shots and after two months of $55.00 co-pays a $234.45 MRI, a $395.16 bone density scan I was finally scheduled for my injections and a day before they were supposed to be done I was notified that it's done across the street at a surgical office and what was free on Humana with a $40.00 doctor co-pays is now going to cost me $645.00 at the surgical center. I'l... read more

🚫 Extremely frustrating experience — I won’t be going back My experience with Lubbock Spine Institute has been exhausting and discouraging. I repeatedly tried to call the office, and the phones often went unanswered. On the occasions I did get through and left messages for the staff, I didn’t receive a call back. It’s incredibly frustrating to be in pain and feel like you can’t reach your provider. What made it worse is that I was told to “leave a message for the provider,” but in reality nothing ever got relayed unless I... read more

I visited lubbock spine institute over a 5 month period from Sept 2024 dec 2O24 . Dr Schindler but mainly seeing PAs. Made a lot of unnecessary trips to lubbock so a pa could convey information that could have been conveyed on the telephone. I had a number of myoplasty procedures that didn't help anything . Told them them my lower back hurt instead they ordered an MRI of the upper back. Seldom saw an actual doctor. Had to have mri in a different area of the back. I explained where the pain was from a previous surgery... read more
