Love the staff at Love Oak Pet Hotel! First off, taking 5 dogs and a cat was chaotic but they were all understanding even when our dogs made s mess for being worried and scared they told us not to worry about it. We called every day while on our vacation and they gave us updates about each one of them. They LOVED Tiny and also I loved how they made sure our girl Ella got comfortable. They took really good care of our dogs and made sure they were comfortable being in a strange new place with other dogs and new people.
I took my 10 year old siberian there for an emergency. They saved her life. Did surgery and listened to me when I told them she wasn't ready to go. And I promised she would fight if they fought for her. Today she is 2 weeks post splenectomy and back to bossing my house around. 10 should not me old for a siberian husky. That's like upper middle aged. We'll done vets. I could not be more thankful.
If I could give 10 stars I would. Our lovely dogs Mack and Evie stayed 4 days with Live Oak. They came back to us smelling fresh and feeling happy. These guys really care and love your pets. We have used them once before and we had the same experience. I highly recommend them.
It has taken a lot of composure to post this review. My husband and I are both full time physicians in Lubbock, we moved here in 2020 so I could complete my surgical residency. We have taken pets to many different vets over the decades but no experience was as mismanaged and heartbreaking as this one. Last week,I took my beloved beagle, Copper, to this location and she was placed under the care of Dr. Lindsey Schroeder for decreased PO intake. Nice friendly staff quick to the point I like the fact they don't beat around the bush they tell you exactly what's going on here's the medicine here's the price out the door
