As four stars indicate, I have a mostly good review for Live Oak South. Large, open clean facility and staff very helpful. We have seen Dr Wolfe with our cat, pearl. Dr Wolfe was very knowledgeable and some steroid shots helped pearl but ultimately, she guided us toward it being a food allergy to chicken. The ordering of a prescription pet food that they suggested didn’t go smoothly as a mistake or two were made in the ordering process. Dr. Shelli Wolfe and her team are AMAZING! I took Peanut in for a dental cleaning, 5 baby teeth extractions and a growth removal. When I wasn’t bugging them for updates, they were calling me on their own letting me know how he was doing, even throughout his procedure. They were very patient and understanding of this nervous dog mom! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking for a skilled, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate Vet for their pets. I brought my Yorkie in because she wasn't feeling well and they did blood work and ultra sound and found nothing gave antibiotics later that night my poor fur baby passed away on us . Fast forward a week later I set up an appointment for my other Yorkie to get his shots and dr only checked his stomach and charged me 57.53 for a medical exam then charged me $145.00 for a annual vaccination after 3 shots my bill come out to 174.00 with a credit of 89.00 for the mess up with my other dog. I have used Live Oak South for all the screenings and paperwork involved in relocating my dog to Japan. The staff is cheerful and polite and Dr. Chattin is knowledgeable, helpful and genuine. They were all very gentle with my nervous dog. Wait times are average. I picked Live Oak because the cost of relocating is very high, but they were the most reasonable. The staff here is incredibly friendly & welcoming from the moment I walked in the door! Dr. Shelli Wolfe is knowledgeable, caring, & compassionate. She took her time to answer all of my questions & concerns with the feral community kitty that I brought in & said she appreciates people like me that help community kitties.
