As a person who is very connected to the event world, I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is for weddings. It's truly the heart of historical Hico. Drake is one of the best venue managers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Most of them actually hang out in an air conditioned office till the catering van pulls off the property lol. HiCo Hall is a beautiful rustic Venue. We were there for a wedding. Very nice areas for the wedding, beverages, and seating for the meal/dancing. It has stone walls and wood beams, lovely. Bathrooms are outside with an area to wash your hands. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. I was so happy to be there.

Nice old rock building. But there are NO CHAIRS. IF you get there early enough, you may be lucky enough to snag one of the chairs they have set on the side, as if we are school children. They do not allow you to bring your own. They are either too cheap or too lazy to even put up folding chairs. There are 2 sets of posts, right in front of the stage. This place is magical. Such a heart of Texas feel. Owner is so welcoming and kind, bartenders were so friendly, people had their dogs hangin out. Music sounded amazing. You have to check this place out again and again!

Love HiCo Hall! Great options to sit (book VIP with table and 4 chairs) or to stand in general admission and sway with the music. Lot less crowded than when we go to the metroplex. Have another friend getting married here soon and can't wait to enjoy it at the beautiful HiCo Hall
