The Four Sixes Ranch is part of the famous Burnett Ranches LLC, which is among the most storied family-run businesses in Texas history. Founded by Captain Samuel “Burk” Burnett in 1868 - when he purchased 100 head of cattle wearing the “6666” brand from Frank Crowley of Denton, Texas – Burnett Ranches today encompasses 275,000 acres near Panhandle and Guthrie. Superbly bred cattle and champion horses grace its pastures, and oil flows from its depths.

We came in late, but staff was really nice anyway. But this place ain’t about tourism, it’s really important for what they do. God bless all the people that do what they do at 6666. But cool place to check out however!
It was great stepping foot onto the 6666 Ranch! After visiting the Ranch, I headed over to the Supply Store (Gift Shop) where the sharpest young ladies helped me with a few family souvenirs. The people are simply wonderful!
My husband and I enjoyed touring the 6666 Ranch! Our tour guide was knowledgeable with all aspects of living and working on this on this historic ranch! After a hard day’s work many of the 150 Guthrie residents can be seen together enjoying a Friday night football game and dinner from the concession stand. Life doesn’t get any better than this!
Really a lot of history to this place. Great place to tour if your in to horses. Biggest ranch I've ever see.
Took one of their tours today and we loved it! Of course, my family are all horse people so we loved seeing all the buildings and learning about how it’s operated. Our tour guide had lots of information on the history of the ranch as well. As a history buff, it sure would be cool if eventually they added a small museum in the future. Even so this place still get five stars from
