Just cannot say enough about this tour! Charcy is one of the best tour guides I have met. Loves to talk, talks clearly, knows a lot about the 4 6s, and wants to share that knowledge! I learned and experienced sooo much in that two (plus) hours. Well worth the fee. The gift shop (supply store) has a ton of great items, including a tall coke that you will need after this tour (it was very hot and very dry). I am already planning a return trip with the family!
I've been driving past 6666, my entire adult life, 30 plus years. I grew up in the panhandle, so ranches aren't a big deal to me. We were curious why there is a football stadium in the middle of nowhere now, but it's Texas. You really didn't notice the houses since they aren't close to the road. After it appeared in Yellowstone, my husband feels we have to stop there anytime we travel by, he does love their hats. So we stop and get him a new one once a year or two. Until about two weeks ago, I would have given this company five stars without hesitation. The steaks are outstanding, and historically the customer service has been excellent. Recently, however, communication became challenging during the holiday season. I placed an order as a gift for my manager and was not concerned about the delivery date itself, only about receiving a clear status update. Non-existent customer service. Last year we ordered beef for Christmas dinner and it was a great experience. Meaning, everything arrived, fresh, on time, great packaging. THIS year however I paid for expedited shipping. It arrived three days later, the dry ice was gone, meat was spoiled. I called a dozen times and each time was forced to leave a voicemail. I left two messages. I've emailed customer service, still nothing. I'm at a loss - out $200.00! PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY! ORDER # 65128
