Incompetent person at the front desk...branch manager was aware of the issue and stayed in his office! There are too many other options.
12/30/2022 Buyer beware. Do your research online before you pick a new bank….I am new to Lubbock and went to the City Bank location on University Avenue to open an new account. I will be taking my business elsewhere after a horrible experience. I worked with Zaira and either she did not know anything about the different accounts, or she conveniently left out the details. While typically the bank itself is fine, but you have to, “break it down Barney style” to the employees working there for even the most mundane of transactions, every time I deposit a check with them I HAVE to tell them to memo post it; now is the third time I’ve told them to memo post a check and they have not but by the time I get off work I can’t call the bank to get the dispute fixed leaving me and presumably other people screwed over with no money and bills to pay then overdraft fees untill they open on Monday. I Love This Bank, I'm Greeted Every Time I Walk In, The Tellers Are Amazingly Sweet. I Have Never Had Trouble Cashing A Check Or Depositing Money. I Would Definitely Recommend City Bank To Family Members And Friends.
