This company seems amazing at first, but they are horrible to work with!! We have been pushed out twice now on a closing date because their underwriting team is so slow!! Tammie is amazing to work with but the underwriters and processors suck!!! We are at the point where it wasn’t even worth it to work with City Bank. If you are thinking of taking out a mortgage loan through them, just do yourself a favor and DO NOT DO IT!!! I came here by mistake while I was looking for a Citibank 😅😆 But the staffs were nice and properly corrected me. Man, but this place looks very fancy and I like it! :)
Love the changes that have been made to this bank in the last 3 months!! Better location! Nice people! Change my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star!! Employees at the front were extremely nice but could use some more training. Keep up the great changes!! (3 months before) This is the only City Bank in Houston. It is very rare to see mortgage bankers this slow and dishonest. I worked with a banker named Dean. Throughout this lengthy process, he assured me that loan is good to go with the given rates. After two months of waiting and losing opportunity to engage another bankers before next rate hikes, they came back to me and raise the agreed upon rate. Please be aware dealing with this bank. I will not recommend engaging them if you are considering new lenders.
