Been going here for years and I used to love it. They e changed doctors 3 times over the years and each has gotten worse as the changes occurred. Now they ran off the nurse practitioner who I absolutely loved. I have only had apts with the new one twice and she seems very good. For the 3rd time in a row I’ve woken up and was very conscious during sedation as they were injecting my spine and burning the nerves in it. 03/31/2025 - This was my first time at Amarillo Spine Institute, and it was an absolutely pleasurable experience. The facility appeared clean and well-kept, and the waiting area was acceptably comfortable. The front staff was extremely professional, polite, and efficient, making the check-in and registration process as painless as possible. The compassion and care I have received here has been incredible! Dr Lee, Izzy and Kathy have been incredible. When I started treatment there I was having horrific back pain and their plan of care has helped me more then I could put into words. Prior to seeing Dr Lee I went to the other guys 1 time plus a pain injection which lasted 24 hours.
Brendan took care of me when I came in for injections. I was so anxious. And he was so kind and understanding. I don’t think I could’ve made it through it without his reassurance. He took care of every need that I had and I appreciate him so much. He showed so much compassion and understanding.
It’s been over a year since my husband had an appointment with ASI and we were skeptical about coming back due to the NP that was there being rude and unprofessional. The office ladies informed us that she was no longer there and that my husband would be seeing the new NP Isela Venzor (Izzy). Let me just say we are so grateful that we came in!
